COVID-19 Assistance Program is an emergency program to assist Colton Electric Utility customers during the COVID-19 crisis from the date of March 19, 2020, Executive Order N-33-20, which required all non-essential businesses to close.
- The COVID-19 Assistance program will provide a $25 bill credit to the electric portion of the utility bill for a period of six (6) months.
- To be eligible for the program, customers must have a job loss related to COVID-19.
- This credit can only be applied once per account/household.
- Customers will need to provide verification with either documentation indicating job loss or proof-of-filing for unemployment as income loss verification.
Customers may apply online using the COVID-19 Assistance Program form.
The COVID-19 Assistance Program will continue to take applications until San Bernardino County declares an end to the COVID-19 emergency”. (The first billing period following the end of the pandemic will be the program enrollment end date).
