Youth Basketball League

The City of Colton strives to provide a safe youth sports environment that emphasizes fun, participation, cooperation, and above all, respect for every child.

This is a non-competitive league for boys, and girls, ages 6 to 13 years old to participate. All games and practices will be held at the Gonzales Community Center, located at 670 Colton Avenue. This league is a 13-week long season, with ten scheduled games.

Registration

All individuals registering for basketball must provide written verification of date of birth at the time of registration. Accepted forms include birth certificate, baptism record, or medical forms. All registration is held at the Gonzales Community Center. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fees

Fees include a basketball jersey, team and individual photos, and a participation award. Proof of residency is required for resident rate. Late fees are $10 and are non-refundable

  • Residents: $83 per child
  • Non-residents: $103 per child

Skill Assessments

  • Division B: Wednesday, November 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
  • Division C: Thursday, November 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
  • Division A: Friday, November 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
  • Division D & Make-ups: Saturday, November 9 from Noon to 2 pm

All special requests must be noted on the registration form and players must attend the skill assessment for request to be considered. No requests are guaranteed. Siblings will be placed on the same team, if noted on form and are in the same division.
