Monthly Emergency Food Giveaways
In cooperation with the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino Food Bank, the Colton Community Services Department hosts food giveaways once a month to low-income families in the cities of Colton and Grand Terrace. The food is provided through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) food commodities.

Food Distribution occurs on Thursdays on the following upcoming dates:
  • April 28, 2016
  • May 26, 2016
  • June 23, 2016
  • July 28, 2016
  • August 25, 2016
Food is distributed at only one location.
  • Colton Residents and Grand Terrace Residents:
    • Luque Center
      292 E. O Street
      Colton, CA 92324
    • 8:30am - 12:00pm

*Remember to bring your photo ID for proof of residency (A current bill with your name & new address on it if your ID is not from Colton/Grand Terrace. Also, please don’t forget to bring a bag or box to carry your food in.  

Food Pantry & Clothes Closet for Sudden Emergencies

A limited amount of non-perishable food and clothing is available between the monthly distributions through generous donations of those in the community, salvaged food from supermarkets, and by food drives sponsored by local businesses, schools, groups, and clubs.  Please call 909-370-5568 for an appointment to receive items.  Please NOTE as the supplies for this are provided by  donations we cannot guarantee assistance.     

Community Service Hours/Volunteers Wanted - Colton Residents Only (Please Bring Current ID)

Want to volunteer or need community service hours for housing, school, or GAIN?  A limited amount of volunteers are needed  the day of the food giveaway to assist with carrying bags for the disabled / elderly. If you’re are interested in helping, please call (909) 370-5568 to register as a volunteer by the 20th of each month.
