THE POSITION |
|
Under supervision, assist in the implementation of a latchkey/school age program at selected elementary schools in the Colton Joint Unified School District or a State Preschool Program. |
|

|
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
|
|
|
|
|
Education and/or Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Course work in child development, education, or recreation is desirable. |
|
|
|
License/Certificate:
Possession of a valid class ‘C’ California Driver’s License is required. Possession of current Pediatric Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Pediatric Standard First Aid certification is desirable.
|
|
|
|
Knowledge of:
Recreation and social needs of children. |
|
|
|
Ability to:
Communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Be self motivated and able to initiate activities. Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities desirable. |

|
Skill to:
Operate a motor vehicle on City streets. |
|
|
