    Salary: $9.13 - $10.06/hr Part-time
    THE POSITION
    Assist in the implementation of a latchkey/school age program at selected elementary schools in the Colton Joint Unified School District or a State Preschool Program.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and/or Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of six Early Childhood Education Units from an accredited college or university. Additional course work in child development, education, or recreation is highly desirable. Experience in a licensed childcare center is preferred but not required.
    License/Certificate: Possession of a valid class 'C' California driver’s license. Possession of, or ability to obtain within one month of employment, Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid certifications.
    Knowledge of: Education, recreation and social needs of children from pre-school to school age. Objectives and philosophy of a child development program.
    Ability to: Communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Be self motivated and able to initiate activities. Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities desirable.
    Skill to: Operate a motor vehicle on City streets.
