How do I register for a class at one of the Community Centers?
The Community Services Department offers a variety of ways to register for classes, Online, Mail In or Walk In. All registration is on a first come, first served basis.

• Mail In Registration : Registration is accepted for most programs with payment made by mail, mailed to Gonzales Community Center, 670 Colton Avenue, Colton, Ca 92324
Walk-in Registration : Walk-in registration is taken Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Gonzales Community Center, 670 Colton Avenue, Colton, Ca 92324. Payment for registration can be made by cash (exact change please), check, money order, Mastercard or Visa.

Does the City of Colton rent halls for public use?
Yes, the City of Colton has three community centers available for the public to reserve. Information may be obtained through the Community Services Department by calling (909) 370-6153. Two week notice is required for reservations.

How can you reserve an area or spot at a park?
The Community Services Department rents picnic pavilions at the following locations: Chavez, Davis, Dauer and Veteran's Parks and the band shell at Fleming Park. All other parks are on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information on fees and rental rules please call the Community Services Department at (909) 370-6153 or click here. Can I have a bounce house at a park?
The City of Colton allows jumping bounces at the parks as long as the bounce company being utilized meets the City of Colton's insurance requirements. A permit is required and can be obtained through the Community Services Department at (909) 370-6153. A permit will only be issued after staff verifies the bounce company meets the City's insurance requirements
