The Colton Public Library System belongs to the Inland Library System. Through an interlibrary loan network, you can borrow materials from other libraries throughout the United States. We will get that hard-to-find book for you.

If you can't find what you want in the public-access computer catalog or on the shelf, please ask a reference librarian. We are here to serve you and have not only local resources but use of the Inland Library System, System Reference Center.

WHAT ABOUT YOUNG READERS?
Librarians help children, parents, and teachers by providing reading advice, story hours, reading programs throughout the year, and special programs.

DO YOU ENJOY DVDs?
The compact disc collection includes music, humor, language instruction, and books on cassettes. Instructional video cassettes and feature films are also available.

DO YOU NEED A PLACE TO MEET?
A meeting room is free to community groups, Colton, CA residents and Colton-sponsored groups. Fees for private and commercial organizations. Call 909-370-5083 for details.

HOW TO GET A LIBRARY CARD
With identification, any Colton resident may obtain a library card at no charge. You may request a card at the Circulation Desk. Videos and DVD's require borrower to be 16 years or older and to possess a valid California ID or California driver's license. Please bring identification when you apply.
