The Community Services Department provides a wide range of programs to the community in the areas of human, leisure and cultural services; special event production; and development and operation of various facilities and parks.

• Recreation programs enhance the quality of life in the City, build a sense of community, expose children to positive role models, improve self-esteem, and contribute to the safety of our community.
• Services for the senior citizen population are provided in a safe and friendly atmosphere with a balance of recreational and social activities offered.
• The Library provides services to help community residents obtain information meeting their personal, educational, and recreational needs. The library serves as a learning and cultural resources center for all residents of the community.
