Having been a Member of the Colton City Council since 1992, I am constantly seeking ways and means of improving our city's financial stability, infrastructure, traffic circulation and most importantly, community safety. All these are fundamental elements of enhancing our quality of life and in establishing great neighborhoods—which are of utmost importance to our families' futures.

Having a responsive City Government is fundamental to fulfilling the needs of our community, and I place strong emphasis on serving those needs. I value constituency input as a vital aspect that is seriously taken into consideration during the final decision-making process. For this reason, I persistently involve our residents and get their feedback and recommendations on important issues.

During my tenure, I've had the opportunity of serving on various intergovernmental agency boards that address matters related to Colton's financial & economic growth, transportation, water and capital improvements. My representation and involvement with various projects and intergovernmental agencies extends throughout the Inland Empire and up to the federal levels. This includes my current service on the League of California Cities Inland Empire Division Environmental Policy Committee.
