The Planning Division is responsible for providing services that promote the community's short and long term interests in obtaining a quality development in both its residential and commercial areas. The Division provides staff assistance to the Planning Commission and Historic Preservation Commission and is responsible for reviewing and periodically updating the City's General Plan and its elements, the Zoning Ordinance, and the various development standards.
